OCD test

About this test

Many people have repeated, upsetting thoughts, or an urge to check things or repeat certain actions. This test helps you see how much time and distress obsessive thoughts and compulsive actions cause you, how much they affect your day, and how much control you have over them.

The test has 10 questions, plus two about your gender and age group, and takes about 3 to 4 minutes. Each question has five answers describing things like how much of your day these thoughts take up or how much distress they cause, and you choose what fits you over the last two weeks. You can go back to any earlier question and change your answer.

It is free and doesn't need an account. Your result appears as soon as you finish, with a simple explanation of what it means.

It is for any adult bothered by repeated thoughts or habits who wants to understand them more clearly. The result is not a diagnosis, but it can help you see whether talking to a therapist would help you now.

Please read the scale items and choose the best answer that fits during the last 2 weeks. There are no right or wrong answers, and you do not need to spend too much time answering any of them.
