Anxiety test

About this test

Anxiety is a normal feeling everyone has, but sometimes it becomes more than usual: tension that won't settle, trouble relaxing, or worrying thoughts that take up most of your day. This test helps you pause and notice, calmly and without judgment, what you've been going through lately.

The test has 7 questions about anxiety symptoms, plus two about your gender and age group, and takes about two to three minutes. Each question has four answers describing how often you felt this way over the last two weeks, from "not at all" to "nearly every day". There are no right or wrong answers; choose what fits you best. You can go back to any earlier question and change your answer before you finish.

It is free and doesn't need an account. Your result appears as soon as you finish, with a simple explanation of what it means. You can retake it every two weeks to see how your feelings change over time.

It is for any adult who wants to understand their feelings better, or who is thinking about talking to a therapist and wants a starting point. The result is not a diagnosis, but it can help you see whether talking to a specialist would help you now.

Please read the scale items and choose the best answer that fits during the last 2 weeks. There are no right or wrong answers, and you do not need to spend too much time answering any of them.
